The epitome of cocktail elegance and sophistication
Prep the glass: Place a martini glass in the freezer for at least 5 minutes.
Alternatively, rub the rim with a little chocolate syrup and dip in cocoa powder to coat.
Measure your spirits: Into a cocktail shaker, pour 1½ oz vodka, 1 oz chocolate liqueur, and ½ oz crème de cacao.
Add ice: Fill the shaker about two-thirds full with fresh ice cubes.Shake: Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds, until the outside of the shaker becomes frosty.
Strain & garnish: Remove the chilled glass from the freezer (or use your rimmed glass), then double-strain the cocktail into it.
Finish by sprinkling a handful of chocolate shavings on top or resting one large shaving on the surface.
